Car model: Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 10

Car problem: lost all smart keys (the valet key is still available)

This guide’s target: to program 2 new remote keys

Tool needed: OBDSTAR X300 PRO3 Key Master



Step1. Choose “Immobilizer”→ “Mitsubishi”→ “Mitsubishi V30.16”

Smart remote twist start: twist and remove the ignition switch knob as below:

Step2. Install the valet key in a new remote. Use the new key to turn ignition on.

Choose “China” → “Select from type”

Choose “Type 2 (CAN with smart)”

Step3. Pull out the mechanical key form smart key and put it back again. Switch ignition on then press Enter button to continue.

Choose “All smart keys lost”

Enter the security code 8A02and confirm

Step4. Program the first remote key success! Insert the second key to turn ignition on then press the Enter button to program.

Press all smart keys car lock button 2 times in one minute. You will hear car horn. Program complete!

As for the fail list, They Informed me OBDSTAR Company engineer is informed and prepare to improve.
Please informed, OBDSTAR X300M odometer adjustment tool is the separate program taken out from X300 Pro3 key master, so the odometer function of X300 Pro3 key master is the same as OBDSTAR X300M.

Part 4: OBDSTAR X300 PRO3 Key Master Feedback on PIC function and workable car models:
The PIC adapter working with OBDSTAR X300 PRO3 is to read write CPU data on a part of car computer.
PIC adapter workable car models (05-26-2016 update):
Initialize CPU data for immobilizer coil on FAW Wei Chi V5(PIC)
Initialize CPU data for immobilizer coil on FAW N5 (FREESCALE)
Initialize CPU data for immobilizer coil on FAW N7 (FREESCALE)

Why immobilizer coil needs to be initialized?
Take FAW Wei Chi V5 (Immobilizer coil model is 89783-52Q40) and FAW N5/N7 (Immobilizer coil model is 89783-TBA00) for example, if their keys are lost, the 4S tend to replace new immobilizer coil then match key, usually a immobilizer coil cost about $50-$85. However, our OBDSTAR PIC adapter is designed to initialize adapter without replacing immobilizer coil, you just directly match new key after immo coil initialization.
