Procedures:
In the example,it is performed on the bench.
But you also you can do this function by OBD port.
Just connect OBDSTAR X300 DP 2 to VW Polo OBD port,then enter menu to select "Diag Program"

OBDSTAR X300 DP Plus Program MQB Key for 2014 Audi A3

Here OBD2 share the guide on how to use OBDSTAR X300 DP Plus programmer to program Audi A3 2014 MQB key via OBD.

Procedures:

2014 Audi A3 with MQB IMMO.

Connect OBDSTAR DP Plus to the OBD port of Audi A3.

Turn on the machine.

Tap "Immobilizer", then "VW /Audi/ Skoda / Seat V34.16".

Quick to authorization...

Tap "Audi".

Have option:

Read Pincode

Program Keys

Programming Remote

Tap "Program Keys".

Tap " 4 generation Immobilizer".

Tap "MQB NEC+35XX (Continental /VDO) ICM".

Follow the message "This functions is available by connecting the server, please ensure the Internet connection is normal.".

Tap "Read IMMO data".

The dashboard lights off for a while and on again.

Logging in system.

Reading out data.

Tap "Make ordinary dealer key".

Communicating...

Please connect P001 with diagnostic device (The upper black one is P001 adapter).

Put the original key in P001.

Reading data.

Please put the new key in P001 adapter.

Make dealer key successfully.

Tap "Program Keys".

Communicating...

Please prepare all the car keys. The keys not be learned and can't start the vehicle.

Input 2 (key quantities).

Is the key to be learned a smart key? Select "NO".

Turn on the ignition with the keys need to be learned successively and press [Enter] after completion.

Please pay attention to the dashboard change: from OFF to ON is normal.

Turn on the ignition with the keys need to be learned successively and press [Enter] after completion. Tap "Enter".

Configuring the system...

Learn complete.

Test the new key can start the car.
Done.

How to Solve OBDSTAR X300M Security Verification Failed Trouble

When used the OBDSTAR X300M Mileage Programmer to do odometer correction function on OPEL Astra 2010, it come out the error “Security Verification Failed”,

How to solve the X300M security verification failure ?
When it fails to communicate or program, please operate as below:
1.Connecting x300m — Starting it-Pressing option-Pressing Data Logging-Pressing on-Pressing ESC – Back to the main menu.
2.When it fails to program, power off the machine please.
3.Pull our TF card where there is a LOG file.
4.Send us the LOG file and the engineer would study the data and figure out the reason.

How to solve VW Amarok Odometer Correction 2711 check fail by OBDSTAR X300 DP

Several days ago,one of obdstar tool customers sent e-mail to ask how to correct odometer for VW Odometer.And he get into trouble of “2711 check fail!” when correcting odometer for VW Amarok by OBDSTAR X300 DP .

Customer:
“I tried doing mileage adjustment on the VW Amarok, however it gives me the error as in the picture”

Here obdstartool engineers share the method to solve this problem.

Solution:
If you ever wonder, to adjust the VW Amarok Odo, you need to choose Golf, NEC+24C64, then VDO-12 and it will complete change.

OBDSTAR H108 PSA Peugeot Citroen DS Immo Key Programmer

1.4.2.4 Data Logging
Any problems during testing, please use the Data Logging function to record the test process and send the data to us. Select ON by the up and down keys and press ENTER to confirm, shown as below,

Note: Every time you need to select ON if you want to record the data before testing car.
1.4.3 System Information
System information includes product serial number, hardware version,software version, release date, register password, etc.

1.4.4 Device Self-test
Device self-test includes screen display, keyboard testing. hardware self-testing, etc. If it cannot show enough pictures on the screen, keyboard not work, and hardware self-test not get through, pleasereturn this productto the manufacturer.
 
Chapter 2: How to update software for
2.1 Update tool software installation
Login our website:http://en.obdstar.com and click “One Key Upgrade”.
Download the update tool and diagnostic software, double click, then go to the next step:
Step 1：Click “Next”

Step 2: Click “Next

Step 3: Wait for several minutes then the installation finished

Step 4: Click “Finish”

After Update Tool installation completed, click the Update Tool software icon        on desktop to start the update tools. The main interface is as shown below:
 

2.2Register
Click ”Sign up” to fill in user information, Username can be English characters or the combination of alphabet and numbers.
Serial number and register password can be referred to System information in the device.( Figure 1.4.3）
For distributor code, please refer to your distributor for more details.

2.3 Software updating
Operation steps as following:
Step 1: Remove the TF card from your device.
Insert your TF card into computer.
Step 2：Open update tool and login.
Step 3: Click the source menu, choose the software you want to update, click it and confirm.
Step 4: Click and select all the software then click “update”. (Note: It is better to click “Format memory car” during updating.)
Step 5: Wait for several minutes then the updating finished.
